MST 1206 hex socket head cap screws with extremely low head are metric low-profile socket screws designed for tight-clearance applications where standard socket head cap screws may be too tall. These screws feature a cylindrical extremely low head, internal hex socket drive and fully threaded metric machine screw thread.
 
Made from steel with property class 010.9 and a black finish, MST 1206 screws are used in machinery, equipment assembly, tooling, fixtures, housings, covers, brackets and maintenance repair applications where compact head height is required.
 
Because of the extremely low head geometry, fasteners made to this specification have reduced loadability according to ISO 898-1. They should be selected where head clearance is the controlling requirement and the application load is appropriate for the screw design.
